Bradburys of Exeter recently hosted a wonderful evening in the showroom with Miele’s executive chef Sven-Hanson Britt and Elspeth, who produced a fabulous menu for our guests. We started off with a glass of prosecco and a gin, cloudy apple and cinnamon punch, which was a great hit!
Sven-Hanson demonstrated the benefits of steam cooking and showed guests how to get the best out of their appliances, including the Sous-Vide drawer, the ‘moisture plus’ function and the wireless roast probe, which gives total precision and allows the user to relax without worrying about timings. The event was a great opportunity to explore the appliances in detail and pick up lots of helpful information.
On the Menu…
Starter: Delicate steamed squash with pickled pumpkin rinds and toasted pumpkin seeds, served with a yogurt and basil dressing, with pumpkin oil.
Main: Brill baked on a bed of lemons, rosemary, thyme and parsley, cooked using Miele’s moisture plus function for absolute perfection, and served with whole crushed artichoke and a red wine and port sauce, with mushrooms and shallots cooked on our Wok induction hob.
Dessert: Chocolate and hazelnut tarts baked using Miele’s intensive bake function for perfect pastry, topped with smoked sea salt, and served with fresh toasted hazelnuts, yogurt and grated chocolate.
We would like to say a big thank you and good luck to Elspeth as this was her last Miele event before retirement.
